Our purpose is to honor the memory of Dr. T. D. Singh by encouraging World Wide Science and Religion Dialogue and inviting all persons who are open to reflection and dialogue on the relationship between science and religion.
Srila Bhaktisvarupa Damodara Swami Maharaja, also known as Dr. Thoudam Damodara Singh, was a Gaudiya Vaishnava spiritual leader, scientist, writer and poet. An outstanding exponent of the science-spirituality dialogue and in world peace-building initiatives, his tireless efforts within the past thirty years were revolutionary and have sown the seeds of introspection in the fields of science and spirituality. He brought together some of the best minds in the world - scientists as well as spiritualists - to a common platform of constructive dialogue.
Most of our CC members are already engaged in integrating science and religions and dialogue around the world, organizing international conferences, and writing and publishing books on science and religions. In the future, we hope to hold meetings via teleconferencing so that we can plan globally but act locally.
